Birthday Cake Iris Folding Pattern
Beautiful Cake Iris Folding pattern which can be used for Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, Congratulations etc occasions. This pattern has many corner folds, but the result should look very nice!
For making it easier you can choose to replace folds 1 and 2 by Paper Piecing, the cutting line for that version is marked in red on the bottom of sheet.

I reduced this image so I could fit it in A5 card. I cut out the image and then using pearlised paper folded and placed the paper as per instructions. It looks complicated but was quite easy and I completed it quite quickly.
I edged the cake with wavy gold peel off and added punched flowers , then topped with a Happy Birthday peel off.
I curved the edges off the card and mounted onto pink card. A lovely card which would suit any birthday age. Could even be used for male birthdays with a different colour scheme
