Stitching patterns make stunning handmade greeting card by simply pricking and stitching! You can use shop bought card blanks or you can make up your own from card stock.
We recommend double fold greeting card blanks, as this will enable you to hide your workings at the back of the design when you have completed it.
It is best to use a fine pricking tool and mat and then the thread of your choice, which can be purchased from any needlecraft shop.
Metallic thread such as those by Kreinik or Madeira give a lovely sparkly effect and is best used with an embroidery needle.
