Brides Keepsake Horseshoe IvoryCompleted by Gwyneth George
OccasionI printed the sheet out onto Super Smooth card - 2 times at A4 and once at A5 size.
After cutting out the two horseshoe shapes from the A4 printoffs I cut out an assortment of the flowers from both sized printouts. Rather than put holes for the ribbon I attached this using wax seals to one of the horseshoes, the wax seals being of wedding bells. I went around the outside edge of each flower with a gold metalic marker to highlight the edge and disguise the white cut edge. I also put each flower in the palm of my hand and pressed with my thumb to give them shape. I stuck the horseshoe shape with afixed ribbon to the plain one using 3mm double sided foam. I used glue gel to attach the assortment of shades and size flowers.
Although I used a gold metalic marker to edge the flowers I tried with different coloured markers and they looked great with a pink or purple metalic edge as well.
