This comical Mrs Christmas Gnome A4 card design, by Gordon Fraser, I have used as my main Christmas theme this year.
I have made the cards all slightly different and added different verses to suit the recipients and decorated the purchased plain paper white and brown string handled bags, using the image as the focal point just as added amusement.
The photographs show 2 cards. To complete the silver mistletoe printed card which has the blue backing, I printed the sheet 4 times and mounted the main image onto a white backing before attaching these together using D.S. tape.
And adde0ing glitter silver peel off strips as embellishments.
I used one image to cut out the hat, the face and Santa’s bag of toys to attach sing padded D.S. tape as decoupage.
I added silver glitter to the fur on the hat, a sprinkle over the tree and sky and tiny stars to the ends of the trim on the Christmas tree.
I treated the card with the red backing in a similar fashion.
I needed at least 3 prints of each main image to complete each of the 22 cards I made and after I had cut out the decoupage pieces, I printed this as many times as I needed to decorate the inserts and the gift bags.
I am looking forward to the Christmas day feedback. Thank you Gordon I just love this image and will look forward to your next year’s designs for Christmas. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus
