After printing the sheet I cut out the pieces and mounted the topper onto a white card blank.
I added the Happy Birthday sentiment using sticky pads to elevate it a little then added the decoupage butterflies by gluing the centre bodies and using foam pads under the wings to lift them. On the final layer of decoupage I added only the top wings to give a realistic effect.
I finished off with black glitter on the butterfly bodies and pearl gems and organza ribbon along the sentiment panel.
