Delightful Poppies 7 x 7 Decoupage
This delightful poppy graphic is enhanced by the Gold Leaf Frame and has some decoupage added to it. This is an easy decoupage card to make up as it is easy to cut out. I'm sure it will delight any special lady in your family.
If you need a different sentiment let me know and I will organise that for you.

Poppies are such a universal flower, and evoke many memories for many families. This beautiful topper design, by Linda Wright, has captured these poppies, in a beautiful set of frames, with eye catching colours. I printed the sheet supplied twice, onto white 200gsm card. I cut out all the main elements, from the first copy. To make the decoupage of the poppies, have more dimension, I cut away the poppies in the black frame. I then used the extra decoupage from this same sheet, to attach, using tiny padded D.S. squares. I used fine strips of glitter gold peel offs, to attach to the gold edged frame. Using the second copy, I cut out the main element, and using padded D.S. tape attached the gold framed poppies, to the main topper. I made a black backing sheet, 11.25cm square, and used glitter gold peel off strips, around the very outside edge, of this black backing sheet, before attaching this, to the back of the main topper, with D.S tape. I made 2 more backing sheets, to attach to a white card front. The white card front measures, 14 cm square. I coloured the edges of this white card, with a blue permanent pen. The black backing sheet measures, 13 cm square and is attached with D.S. tape. The blue backing sheet measures 11.5cm square and is attached to the black backing sheet with padded D.S. tape. I then attached the the completed topper with padded D.S. tape to the card front. I made a simple red bow, and attached it o,n the right hand top corner. For the insert I used a delicate print backing sheet, cut to size and a larger version of the poppies, and some gold bow peel offs, to form a frame for both sides of the insert.
A truly well thought out design, I will use this, many more times. Thank you.
