The first thing I did when I saw this sheet offered for purchase was realise the potential this beautifully presented sheet had to offer.
I printed it onto 80gsm copy paper after making sure the lines were dark enough for me to simply copy the sheet onto both sides without losing the definition of the lines.
I then set the printing of my address to sit centrally at the very top of the page on one side only.
I will keep this as the original to have on hand when my stack of 20 is depleted.
I was also attempting to make some little lined notelets to fit inside the box pattern which comes with the beautiful design for Easter by Crafty Tinytales, cup1095843_1784 #3 and 1095842_1784 #4, Easter Egg Card, Egg and Gift Box and up popped this beautiful floral pattern by Karen P Designs.
I have made quite a number of these sets now and by changing the hue of the original design and changing the hue of the box design, and also changing the size of the notelets to be even smaller which will avoid having to fold them, I have managed to make them look different and special for each recipient.
This gift is also so useful for many occasions including Mother’s Day. The one in the purple tones I have featured in the attached photographs is made as a lucky door prize for a charity church craft club to which I belong.
I copied the sheet provided twice onto the same A4 copy paper so that each notelet measured 21cm x 14.5cm and repeated this 6 times and cut them in half.
This gave me 12 notelets. I folded each of these in half and wrapped the purple ribbon around to keep them together.
I made the 6 envelopes, measuring 14.5cm x11cm which is a standard finished sized 4 ½”x 6”, fits easily into the box and they are made using a printed full A4 sized copy of the sheet provided.
The box pattern is printed onto 170gsm paper with the back of the lid printed with the sheet provided at 15 x10cm in the centre and the base of the box has the perimeter of the design visible when the box is open.
I have made some sets in the brown tones and used D.S. red power tape construct the boxes. I have photographed the 2 boxes side by side. The purple box is completed the tan coloured box is ready to attach the red power tape.
The notelets for the brown tones, I have made smaller, measuring 10cmx15cm and used the same finished size of the envelopes and some smaller sets in the purple pink tones.
I have made enough sets to cover all my Easter and next couple of birthday celebration gift needs and enjoyed a lovely happy day in my craft room with the air conditioner on.
Thank you, Karen, I love this designed sheet and I have also purchased the set you offered recently. I can see another cool day inside in my craft room approaching, with the ground work and planning already done with this sheet.
