This is a stunning image of a beautiful lady in a very sophisticated pose in front of a mirror in a most elegant gown and makes a delightful subject for a greeting card for someone very special.
I have made 2 copies of the sheet provided and used one copy for the topper and the other to use some elements for the insert.
I mounted the main image onto a white card cut at 11.75 x 8.5cm and before I attached this to the main element using D.S. tape I defined the edges with a teal coloured metallic pen, which I also used on each of the following backing sheets.
The first one is a silver backing sheet cut at 13 x 10cm and the next is a white backing sheet cut at 14 x 11 cm.
I wrapped the silver stain and organza ribbon across the lower front of the silver backing sheet and secured it behind the back of the white backing sheet.
I placed these on top of the card front before I attached the smeller step by step decoupage elements.
I attached these with tiny padded D.S. squares. I made the bow from the same ribbon and attached it with red power tape.
I used the second copy to cut away the frame to use in the lower section of the insert for the verse and the mirror with the lady I attached to the upper section of the insert and overlay the sentiment that I had chosen.
This is a very quick and easy step by step card to make for any card maker who likes to work with that method of decoupage.
I love the design and the stunning card I was able to make. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
