This card is going to my sister who, as a hard working University lecturer and mother of 4, finds it hard to put herself first.

I will be including a voucher for some pampering on the inside to make sure that she takes the hint. :)

I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut out the pieces. Even though it looks like the fussy cutting will be difficult the design has been well thought out and the cutting is fairly straight forward - the only part that I had to take care was between the legs (I didn't want to cut my sister's toes off).

I used 1mm foam between each layer and then raised the ornamented frame on 2mm foam before flat sticking the completed design to my base card.

What a wonderful card for a friend or a sister, especially if you invite yourself to join the relaxation - don't forget to bring the croissants.
