I made two different cards with this design:

Card 1:

I printed the image onto card and cut out the different elements. Then I used glitter pen to highlight the hair, dress and the light area on the background. I then layered the different image elements and 'Happy Birthday' using foam pads. I then layered the image onto pink mirri-board using tape and added pink gems to the corners. I then layered this panel onto a 15x20.5cm card blank made from cream card stock using foam pads.

Card 2:

I experimented by printing the image on to acetate. The colours and image have come out clear and bold, although not shown as well in the photo.

I trimmed the image panel, leaving a larger margin on the right of the image.I made a card blank 15x20.5cm from pink card stock and layered a slightly smaller piece of silver sparkle card onto it using tape. I then cut out two patterned boarder strips the same length as the silver card. I used tape to adhere one of the strips to the right of the design on acetate and more tape to adhere this to the right of the silver panel. I used thinner tape to adhere the second strip to the left edge of the silver card, leaving half of the strip unstuck. The left side of the acetate then slides underneath the strip, making it arch. The image can then be taken out from behind the strip for sending.
