Golf At Sunset PyramidCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionI have made this card for my friend whose husband is a golfing fanatic, and is celebrating his birthday soon.
It is such an easy quick pyramid to complete, and I was able to use cup563960_1051, the golf ball insert, as the backing sheet printed onto both sides of a CB, 280gsm matte white card, as the main card.
I used the topper and the attached backing sheets to cover the intended oval message space on the card front.
When the card is opened, it measures 27cm x 19cm, and I used black glitter peel off strips to attach to the outside edges of the main card front, leaving a 0.25 space between the edge of the card and the strips.
I then attached the largest backing sheet which is a silver, pearl finished paper, cut at 17cm x 11cm, and added the same black glitter peel off strips right on the edges and attached it to the card front using D.S. tape.
The next sized backing sheet is a dark rich tan textured card, which measures 15.5 x 9.5m, and I have attached silver peel off strips right along all 4 edges, before attaching it to the card front with D.S. tape.
The bright green backing sheet is 14.5 x 8.5cm, and is attached using padded D.S. tape. I coloured some silver peel off strips with a bright orange permanent pen and attached them to the edges of the green backing sheet.
I cut out all the elements from the sheet provided and used padded D.S. tape and squares to attach each piece in a step by step method, and attached the finished pyramid to the lower half of the green backing sheet, again using the padded D.S. tape.
I coloured the 5 and the 6 with the same bright orange pen and then attached them to a bright yellow card.
I cut around them as a pair and attached them to the top half of the green backing sheet.
I used the sentiment provided and attached it to a 3 fold concertina tag, and then using D.S. tape attached the tag to the centre top of the card front.
I used the same silver, pearl finished card to use as the insert for my friend’s choice of verse, and the oval area on the inside of the back of the card for her personal message.
A totally satisfying card completed in no time at all, thank you for this unique design, it is perfect, for most male occasions.
