Christmas Church and Holly Gold Frame Aperture Card
I have deaigned this card to be a aperture with a full card to cut out, that has a frame, the inside of this need cutting out, then the full image is glued to the inside of the card so it is visible from the front through the frame, then there is an topper that goes on the image at the back of the card to create a little 3D to the card.

I suspect I didn't make this card the way it was intended-I couldn't quite figure it out, but I ended up REALLY liking it!
I printed it on matte photo paper, then cut out the top two sections as one piece, then carefully cut out the area inside the frame.
I scored and folded where indicated, then cut out the bottom image and DSTed it to the inside (the part under the frame when the card was folded).
The paper I'd used seemed a bit "floppy", so I glued the frame to a coordinating paper, leaving a little border of it showing on the three sides.
I cut out the center again so the image inside the card would show, but the frame was still floppy, SO I glued it to the inside of the card and VOILA, it's now a one-piece card with a beautiful holly image on the back and space to write a greeting.
I cut out the second picture and added it with foam pads to raise it up and used an interesting peel-off border on the frame.
Some glitter in the windows and a bit on the snow, and I have a beautiful, and somewhat different, card.
