You have done it again Russ, another fabulous design to work with. This one has a ribbon at the edge of the lace,I didn't have a matching green so I used an organza coffee coloured ribbon and for the aperture space, I printed the beautiful background sheet CP495241_503 on to vellum 13x 9cm.
I printed the Roses Aperture card sheet sheet twice onto C.B's Matte White copy paper and used a cream card 29.5 x 21cm. I used a pale pink lace print backing sheet 21. 14.8cm and attached it to the card front with D.S tape. I cut out all the elements from sheet 1& I marked the space of the aperture with the oval onto the backing sheet . I then attached the vellum insert over this space with vellum tape.. I cut out the aperture from the 1st topper, attached the centre of a length of the ribbon.(10 cm on the left and long enough for a tie on the right)) so that it came up through the aperture. I then cut the aperture from the 2nd topper, cut around the frame leaving it intact ,then cut around the lace frame. That left 2 pieces of the topper to back with strong card using D.S tape. TIP: Cut each piece slightly smaller than the topper pieces.I attached the outside frame with D.S tape to the top only of the card front. I used Thick D.S Foam strips to attach the lace section. I then tucked the ribbon under neath the lace frame on the left as I attached it to the card with thick foam D.S strips, I then held this down firmly with my left hand as I did the same on the RH Side , but leaving the ties loose.
I then made sure all the rest of the foam strips were attached before peeling off the D.S tape from the frame and ensuring it was attached firmly.Ii tied the ribbon loosley. Finished step by step the rose decoupage and added the sentiment.
I used a large print A4 of the aperture insert and the same lace backing sheet for the card insert and the decoupage roses from the 2nd topper sheet for the Top RH and bottom Corners..
What a beautiful card . Pamela Horton Wellington Point Qld
