Doodle Paper 1 - Rainbow Colours EmbossedCompleted by Wendy Howroyd

I made this card using my rainbow-coloured doodle paper with an embossed effect. I printed it on to mid-weight white card and cut it down to fit on the front of an A5 card, sticking it on with foam pads after using a butterfly aperture cutting die on it.

Then I used the butterfly cutting die that came with the matching aperture die, sticking the butterflies inside the apertures with double sided tape just on the body section and the wings bent upwards.

I found 3 card colours that matched colours in my doodle paper. For the inside I made a pop-up aperture with the butterfly apertures down the centre, and used the doodle paper behind this to show through.

I cut two strips of the doodle paper and stuck these either side and designed a greeting plaque for one side and stuck on two butterflies.
