Sumptuous Satin Backing Paper - Purple

I printed out this background and also a gold one from cup265385_1435 onto Super Smooth white card. The golden sheet was trimmed before scoreing and folding to make my base card. I trimed a panel from this purple background and punched out ribbon slots using a paper punch in from one edge. I threaded a ribbon through the slots and stuck the ends to the back before attaching the panel to the front of my card towards the left hand side but leaving a small border. I decorated two corners of the purple panel with gold corner peeloffs, placing purple sticky back gems in the centre of those. Larger versions of the same coloured gems were stuck at the top and bottom of the right hand edge of the card. An oval panel of linen textured gold card was stuck onto the card front using 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape. This panel was decorated with shaped flowers and leaves. I put in an insert cup268494_1435 decorated with the same corner peeloffs and gems inside the card to finish it off.

This is a realy rich colour that makes a card extra special.
