Other than some strips of fine gold straight peel-offs the whole of the card, and the little pyramid gift box to go with it, were made using this lovely backing paper.
I printed the sheet out on both sides of one sheet of Super Smooth white card and on one side of two other sheets of Super Smooth white card. I used a pyramid box template to mark, cut out and score the pyramid box from the sheet that had been printed double sided. I used a template to mark, cut out and score the closed book card from one of the single sided printouts before highlighting the edge of the spine and top "page" ends with the gold peeloffs. The last sheet I used to make the flower embelishments on both items. I used a six petal flower punch that was slightly smaller than the flowers on the design to cut out the centre of each flower. I then folded, creased and shaped all the flowers and stuck some onto the face of the card and the top of the pyramid gift box. A few of the extras I cut into the edges of the petals and squashed them a bit more before sticking to the centre of a small number of the flowers already in place.
