I printed the background design onto Super Smooth white card and then trimmed it to fit onto the front of an A4 base card, leaving a small border all the way around. After sticking the background to the card front I built up layers of the heart topper (which I'd cut out of background cup108414_572 and various colours of Silk Art card), sticking them in plac using 2mm deep, double sided foam tape. I also used two of the hearts as a greetings panel. I embelished the card with three colours of little flowers made of Mulberry paper. I finished off with a greeting, and placed border and corner gold peeloffs around the edge of the background.
This background has a nice, rich, colour, and suits any card with a romantic theme, but would be equally as good for a card for a rose gardener with a simpler topper on.
