I printed this sheet twice onto 300gsm Super Smooth white cardstock.
I took a box of tissues and took out the cardboard shape from the centre top where the tissues come out and used this as a template to mark the correct shape towards one side of one of the sheets I'd printed.
I cut this out. This sheet was used to make the top and one long side of the box. The other sheet was used to make the other long side and around to the two short sides.
I used the box itself as a form and scored and folded and trimmed and finally stuck the card sheets in place using Template Tape.
I stuck a strip of the same tape around the bottom of the box cover and put a strip of red satin ribbon around it.
I also put a strip of tape around the top of the box round the cutout shape and put the same ribbon around, pleating it as I went.
I decorated the box with circles of different sizes of red and white cardstock cut using my circle scissors. I used a roller glue pen to attach these. A quick and easy way to make up an inexpensive gift, making a simple box of tissues look more special.
