Stars Backing Paper in PurpleCompleted by Gwyneth George

I printed this background, together with digi stamp cup55704_27, out onto sheets of Super Smooth white cardstock. I then cut a panel out of the background, rounded the corners with a paper punch and matted it onto silver mirror card. This mirror card was then trimme to leave an even border and I also rounded the corners. The digi stamp was cut out using a die, together with a layer to go behind it using a larger size of the same shaped die. I coloured in the digi with promarkers. I took an A5 white base card that was pre-cut with a large deckle edge and went round this with a silver metalic marker. I also used this marker round the edge of the mat that goes behind the digi. I built up my card using 1mm deep foam tape and a glue runner pen to attach everything in place. I then embelished with leaves cut out using my Silhouette Cameo and die cut flowers that I'd added sticky back gems to their centre.

This is an useful background as stars can be used for so many occasions from Christmas to Congratulations.
