I printed this sheet out twice and cut all the elements from the first print, and extra decoupage elements from the other sheet (including the 1, 8 & th).
I mounted the three pages onto card and cut out again.
I decoupaged the layers with a mix of 1mm & 2mm foam pads. I punched holes in the spines and threaded ribbon through, tying it in a bow.
Printed sheet twice onto 160 gsm card and cut out the book pages and decoupage pieces from one and then from the other I cut out the numbers and letters and then any other pieces I wanted to decoupage extra.
I stuck the back page to another piece of card to give it some strength and the built the decoupage up using foam pads starting with the back page.
I stuck the pages together using a wide double sided sticky tape. To finish off I added a few gems throughout to bring a bit off sparkle. It makes a cute but also stunning card and this one is actually for my own Daughter who is 16 tomorrow! ☺
