What a neat idea for students to make for teachers or visa versa! All you need to make these bookmarks is a few 1 inch sticky back magnets that come in a roll for cutting and your cut out card patterns.

Just cut and told the bookmarks.

Cut 2 1 inch by 1/2 inch magnets and place the first one sticky side down to the inside front and press to stick.

Then place the second magnet sticky side up onto the the first and close the bookmark so it is stuck in place to other side.

I also glued or taped a small piece of paper over the magnets so they won't mark your book.

One thing I did find helpful was to add a piece of light weight card stock about 1/4 inch wider on the inside to make it easier to slide open one handed into your page.
