4 Floral Vintage Ladies BookmarksCompleted by Taina Kankare

I printed out the 4 floral vintage ladies bookmark sheet once. Then I printed out the Carnations concertina bracket 3D card kit page3.jpg as a background paper. I cut out all the four bookmarks from the bookmark sheet.

I layered two of them on violet cardboard, and two on saffron cardboard. I trimmed the excess leaving a narrow coloured border. I took a punch and made holes for the ribbons. Then I attached the ribbons. After this I started to make the sachet/envelope/base card for the bookmarks. I took a large sheet of violet cardstock.

I scored it to make a four side accordion card. Then I cut four slices of the carnation paper to decorate the sachet. Attaching the bookmarks into the sachet: I cut 8 long strips from clear non-tearing plastic bag. I made two "belts" for each of the bookmarks from the strips and attached with two sided tape.

The belts were attached to themselves, not to the bookmarks. Then I attached more double sided tape on the backside of the belts and attached the bookmarks into the sachet this way.

The bookmarks can be removed by cutting the belts with scissors. As a precaution and decoration, I attached four butterflies into the sachet faces.

The butterflies have two sided tapes along the wing edges leaving the mid part without tape. Thus the bookmark ribbons can move when the bookmarks are removed.
