Vintage Handbag Card 1297

I printed out the sheet then cut out the elements. I scored and folded the handbag piece along the centre line and across each side where the cream side panel jutted out. I then mountain folded the centre line and valley folded the folds either side so that the piece now resembled a real bag shape and will stand up. To keep the bag closed I stuck a small piece of magnetic tape on the inside of each handle.

I built up the decoupage layers on the front of the bag using sticky pads, topped it with a pearl gem then attached two butterflies one inside the other on the bag handle.

I printed out my own sentiment and made it into a tag to tie round the bag handle with organza ribbon and two pearl beads.

This card makes a lovely gift and a card in one.
