I printed the sheet onto super smooth white card, cut out the image around the outer frame and coloured it in using a set of 6 Letraset Metalic Markers to give the plumage a real sheen. I chose a co-ordinating colour Satin Board as a mat behind the image, trimming to leave a border of around 1cm each side. The matted image was stuck onto a pre-cut, decorative edge, 8" square card which I'd gone round the edge with one of the colours of metalic marker.

A great image with shading details so you can easily get a great picture whatever your prefered colouring medium.
