I printed off the digital image on to 250 gsm card and used an 8” by 8” card base.
I cut the image to measure 13 cms by 10 cms and coloured in using Chameleon pens.
To make the image into a card I did the following:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Then cut a square from a patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Next cut a piece of white card measuring 8 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 7.5 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a piece from a patterned paper measuring 7 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach across the centre of the card base.
Then cut a piece of white card measuring 19 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 19 cms by 6.5 cms.
Cut a piece from a patterned paper measuring 19 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach on the left of the card base using foam pads.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 14 cms by 11 cms.
Cut a piece of brown card measuring 13.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together, along with the digi image.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Add a sentiment using matching colours.
For the inside, cut a square from brown card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
