I printed this design onto white matte card and painted using water colours. I then used a cotton wool ball and using my chalk pallet I coloured the white background with a light coating of red, green and yellow chalk, rubbing in circles to blend the colours.

I didn't fix the chalk with hairspray this time, as I didn't want the paint to run, so just rubbed very lightly to take of the excess chalk with a tissue.

I glued the design after trimming to size to a green card. and added gold corners and a Happy birthday peel off, plus added a small amount of gold glitter to the centres of the poinsettias.
