Goldstar

Time for Bed Digital StampCompleted by Gwyneth George

I printed the digital stamp out onto 300gsm Super Smooth white cardstock and coloured the picture in using Promarkers. I cut layers of the curly border frame cup303469_601 out of Adoreable Scorable cardstock, one of them with a glitter pattern embossed on it. I also made the base card out of Adorable Scoreable of the same colour with glittered spots on it. I cut the coloured-in image using an oval cutter and then went round the edge of the panel, and also the largest matting layer, using an ice blue ink pad. I used offcuts of the card from the matting and layering, together with a spotted blue ribbon, to make a feature down the left hand side of the card, before building up the digi panel and matting and layering in order, sticking each layer in place using 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape. I made two bows from the same spotted ribbon, putting one on the ribbon border and one at the top left of the digi pannel.

I thought this image looked a bit like one of my nephews before he had his hair cut, always with a thumb in his mouth and a teddy in his hand, so I coloured it in with brown hair to match him, but the beauty of a digi stamp is that it can be resized before printing and then coloured in with anything from black to light blond hair and wearing whatever colours that you want for your project.
