say it with flowers
perfect for the gardener, just roses

This is a design, I had purchased some time ago and as it is perfect for me to use now, I have revamped the photographs, of how I have made the cards this time round.
I made a pink base card, 15cm wide and 28 cm high, and then cut out the backing sheets I wanted to use. Starting with the largest, the black is 14.5cm x 13.5cm, the gold, is 14x 13 cm and the smaller black, is 13 x 12cm.
I printed the sheet provided twice, onto good quality card, and using the main element from the first copy, and using padded tape attached it to the smallest black backing sheet. Before attaching this to the backing sheets, I used D.S tape, and 3 lengths of ribbon to attach the backing sheets together, and then onto the main pink card. I wrapped the 3 ribbon mix around to the inside of the main card, and secured it with magic tape. I then used the second copy to cut out the main element, 8 cm high and 11cm wide, and used a black backing sheet, 8.3cm high and 11.3cm wide, attached with D.S tape, and matted this to the card front. I used the extra element supplied to decoupage the rose, the 3 buds and some leaves with padded tiny squares. The remaining extra elements, I then used in the insert, which is a rose embossed, pink sheet, cut at 27cm x14.5cm wide. I finished the card front with a bow using the narrow white and gold ribbon. A beautiful design that says it all for so many occasions.
I also made a second card, making good use of a 2 for 1 purchase.
I first of all made the main white card, 30cm x 16cm, and added the following 2.5cm wide red satin ribbon, and 3 backing sheets with D.S tape, A bright red, which measures, 14.75 x 15.75 cm, a bright yellow, which measures, 14.25 x 15.25cm. and a black, which measures 13.5 x 14.5cm. Before attaching the main topper, I used peel off strips to edge the black backing sheets with black, and the yellow with gold glitter strips.
I printed the sheet supplied, twice on good quality card, and used the first copy to attach, using D.S tape, the main element to the card front over the 2.5cm wide red satin ribbon. I used the second copy to cut the main element away from the frame, which I kept to use on the insert sheet, and used padded tape, to attach a black backing sheet, 12.25 x 9.25cm and edged this with black peel off strips.
I used the extra element to decoupage the rose, the 3 buds, and a few leaves, with tiny padded squares. I made a bow with the same ribbon, and attached it with power tape. For the insert I simply added the left over, frame on the lower half, for the verse, and a red pearl finished paper with a blank sentiment to write a greeting.
2 beautiful cards, and with the left over elements I have made a 2 sided Thank you card, using the Saying it with Flowers, sentiment, and a peel off Thank You.
Well worth the purchase as I have used this card many times, for Sympathy, Thank You, and Birthday occasions. Thank you Jeannette. A virtual Hug from
