Exploding Card - Apricot Roses
With an exploding card the card itself gets tied with ribbon and when you untie the ribbon the pictures inside "explode" out because of the way they have been folded. Full instructions are on this website - they are very easy to make and once you've made one or two you won't need the instructions.
Once made you can then either leave the card "as is" or attach it to the front of a larger card as a 3D topper.

A fun little card to make. This one is printed 2 times onto plain paper as instructed and I did the folding as per the web instructions, although I used only one of the exploding flower patterns.
I folded the main pattern piece and used DST to add to the base card stock cut at 3" x 12?.
Then the 2 decorative strips were added to the backside of the 3 x 12 card stock along with the ribbon and the 2 small rose squares on top of ribbon.
On the inside right I used the greetings and added a contrasting glossy green strip and small rose image instead of the second folded piece.
Fold together and tie so it?s ready to mail, just add your love.
