Lace Fan Roses Butterflies
Lace fan design with roses and butterflies....very lovely!

I was so delighted to see how realistic the lace appears.
The elements I cut out in light card, matted the topper together all with D.S Tape. Firstly attaching the orange ribbon from the edge of the lace placement around to the rear of the topper- AND-I made 2 tiny slits using a scalpel either side of the handle. I threaded the ribbon from the front to the back, tied a single simple bow, Pulled it firmly to the back and secured it with tape
. Before attaching this topper to Orange Card 21cm x 13.3, Light brown card 22cm x14cm then onto the main Orange Card 28.5 X22.5cm..I used Glossy accents on the centre of each larger lighter fleur d' lise
I mounted the roses with tiny D.S Foam Dots placing them double at the top of each rose
for a greater 3D effect. Next the butterflies. I colored the feelers in a little black and orange, Stiffened them with clear nail polish and allowed it to dry before attaching the btterflies with D.S Foam Tiny dots
Handy Hint.
When the elements are small use sponge and ink pad or alcohol ink pens to ever so lighty colour the edges of each element in a matching shade. "VOILA no white edges to spoil your beautiful hard work"
