Quirky DuckCompleted by Jane Page
OccasionI chose this print for someone who loves ducks but I'll be using it for my Easter cards too! This was a simple and lovely card to make! I printed the image onto both card and paper.
I cut out the octagon gate fold card shape from the card and scored along the fold lines for a neat finish.
I folded it into the gate fold card. I decoupaged the duck using the card copy and stuck it on with foam pads. I used a glue dot at the top of each leg to make it look like the duck is sitting down.
Finally I cut out the gate fold part from the paper copy and stuck it to the front of the card.
I added a yellow bow on one of the 'gates' to give a pretty finish when the card is folded.
If you needed to make several cards this would be a great image to choose-it doesn't take too long to make and is a really unusual shape.
