Spring Daisy Wedding with Wedding Cake French GatefoldCompleted by Gwyneth George

I printed the sheet off a little smaller than A4 size and cut out the panels. I decided to use the gatefold card as a topper on another card, rather than a stand alone card so I made a base card out of lemon coloured irridescent cardstock, to reflect the daisy centres, and made the gatefold topper on top out of white cardstock, a length of lemon coloured ribbon being put across the front of the main card before the gatefold card was stuck on top. The panels were then attached to the gatefold card using Foto glue, to allow for the panels to be moved into place. The card then simply closes and can be tied with the ribbon. I decorated the inside of the card with insert cup290445_1415 Wedding Cake Insert, and some paper flower daisies I made myself.

Daisies may not, traditionally, be thought of as a "wedding flower" but they actually look very nice on this card. Very spring like.
