50th Birthday Perfume Lace & Pearls square landscape insert

I have used this design by Carol Ann Clarke in 2 sizes as part of the insert for this mini book style card, I have made, using cup1046657_613 as the image for the card front and in keeping with the purple theme for this 50th Birthday greeting card the design is a perfect match.

The smaller version printed onto 170gsm white satin finished photo paper, I have cut in half using the lace ribbon section and a 2mm white border and as the main backing for the image by Susan Hearnes, cup1128893_846.

I have then used the larger version of Carol’s design to define the edges using a mauve metallic permanent pen.

I have left the space blank to write my special message to my daughter. The cover page of the insert measures 13.75x14cm and opens up to the centre of this extra insert to measure 28.5cmx14cm.

I used D.S. tape around the edges of the extra larger insert and glue stick on the light purple main card used for the mini book to help make a firm attachment across the 1cm central vertical join.
