I also cut the area reserved for text out. Then I attached an ordinary Christmas card in the aperture. The card features a traditional rural landscape from Finland or Sweden. There are four tonttus in the picture. Tonttu, Tomte or Nisse is Santa's helper in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. They are not exactly the same as Christmas elfs, gnomes, imps or brownies, so I call them "tonttu". As you can see, this insert can also be used as a frame for various occasions.
