Sumptuous Satin A5 Insert - PeriwinkleCompleted by Gwyneth George

I printed this insert onto good quality paper and printed the co-ordinating background colour from kit cup265385_1435 onto Super Smooth white card.

After trimming off the white border of the card I scored and folded it into my base card. I did the same with this insert, trimming off a bit more so that it doesn't show when the card is closed. I then took a border punch and punched the right hand edge of the card base and the corresponding side of the insert. The strip that was cut from the front of the card was attached to the right hand side of the insert so that it's visible when the card is closed. A row of tiny sticky back pearls was attached to the border on the insert and the punched edge on the outside. The card was decorated with mats of white and silver with a lace border and a white fan and large pearl in the centre.

A lovely shade for the insert that has the large clear area for writing that I like and not so dark that it uses heaps of ink.
