Poinsettia InsertCompleted by Taina Kankare

I printed the Poinsettia insert and cut the white area out. I added a standard Christmas card in the opening and attached my card front on a red base card leaving a narrow red border. The Christmas card includes the most loved features of a Christmas card here in Finland: snowy landscape, red rural houses, the fence, bullfinch, blue or great tits and a bundle of oats straw with grains. I decorated the card with some decoupage levels of the poinsettia and some glossy accent.

Next I opened the Poinsettia insert into my photo editor to make the inserts. I made a mirror copy of the sheet and wrote some Christmas carol verses in it in Finnish. Then I made another sheet without mirroring with Christmas and new year wishes. I printed them out and attached them inside the card.
