I added an extra oval and lightened the background so I had somewhere to write a message and edged it in matching gold and placed it into the matching card with double sided tape.

I used this background for making one of my cards in a combination of iris folding and applique techniques. I printed the image, cut it and created two-sided card gluing back and front with matching colored paper.
Then I added the vase and flower which I made partly as IF and partly as DIE.
