Halloween Spider Girl CardCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionThis is a delightful and not too spooky girly look at the fun of Halloween and I have used this to print and attach as the front page of one of the Halloween colouring in books, I am using as part of my trick or treat novelties for the 31st October.
I have used cup913032-7993, Halloween Black Cat backing sheet, a design by Clare Walker, to print on both sides of 120gsm card and for this book have trimmed it down to measure 28 x 17.5cm, and formed 2 mountain folds at the top to make a fold over top, before using a 2hole punch and a self- adhesive fold back clip to attach the inside pages as I added them.
I have used a variety of colouring pages from books from my teaching days, and varied the size to be age appropriate, sometimes gluing 2 images to a page, and using both sides of each sheet.
The first page when you lift up the front cover is, cup818606_70151, Halloween Colouring Cards set 2, a design by Janet Griesssi.
I have made the pages easily removable for easy colouring in, and have scuffed the edges and used either an orange or green pen to mark the edges of each sheet.
This was an ideal cover page for this book I have made, and I have repeated the ides to make smaller books to bundle with some colouring pencils and this is certainly a healthier alternative as a treat, than bags of sweets.
I have used really good quality quick drying liquid glue to paste the pages onto the prepared sheets, and allowed them to dry flat before attaching the pages through the punched holes.
I have written a tutorial for this book, My Halloween Colouring Book and will upload it later today.
