Iris Folding Meerkat PatternCompleted by Barbara Stubbings

Kirsty put the challenge out there......to try adding this to a desert scene......that certainly set the creative juices flowing. First, having googled for a suitable desert scene, I printed that scene onto a white card.

Using a craft knife I carefully cut the wee meerkat shape into the desert scene and following the guidelines added the iris folding.

For the iris, being the 'heart' of the picture, I used gold glitter card. I finished off the inside of the card and added Kirsty's Meerkat Motto. I'm thrilled with the result and hope Kirsty is too.
