Christmas Santa Face Iris Folding PatternCompleted by Susan James

I printed two copies and cut out the santa’s head out of one sheet but left the hat brim, face and beard attached. The loose head was positioned on a pink linen card panel 137mm x 175mm, I drew round the template and cut it out again leaving the hat brim, face and beard. I

positioned the card on the remaining sheet and held the panel in position using removable tape. Using the iris folding technique I used pearlescent red strips for the hat and glitter white for the beard. For the hat brim and mustache I used two different white fabrics, for the face I used flesh coloured fabric, the eyes were the open \ closed stick on and the nose is a piece of cupcake candy. The santa panel was completed by attaching a white pom-pom to the end of the hat, a hat embellishment and going round the edge of the panel with a gold Krylon pen. The panel was attached to an A5 pearlescent card using large sticky pads and finished with a peel off.
