Egg with a Bow IfCompleted by Helen Jennings

I printed this sheet out twice so I had a template and a guide for my iris folding.

Using the template I cut out the crossed bow elemets from gold glitter card and the aperture from a 6" square pale pink card blank to which I had adhered some stripy paper with spray adhesive.

I stuck the gold glitter ribbon in place and then using 3 co-ordinating papers, I built up the iris folding.

When i had completed the pattern I ran the card through my cuttlebug to lessen the bulk.

I then stuck a matching piece of card to the back to hide the "workings". I completed the card by adding a gold bow to the egg; some fabric roses to two corners with glue gel; a "Happy Easter" peel off in the bottom corner and an Easter egg Peel off in the top corner.

These are great patterns and every time you use them you get a different finish depending on what papers, ribbon etc you use.
