You need five different papers for this traditional iris folding card, done in the usual manner. The twist is that you first cut out a flower head and a bud. Tape to the pattern and complete, trimming around the edges. Cut out the stem and arrange on a card as shown, or make up your own design. Complete with a label.
Use up your leftover papers with this iris folding card project, sized to fit a 7" x 5" card. Contains labels for birthday, Mothers Day and a blank label.

I used heavy weight card stock to cut out the iris. I used origami paper to cut out the iris flowers to keep it from getting to bulky. The leaves are cut out to green card stock.
