Poppies Iris Folding Card
Iris folding with a difference - make a pretty chalked background of a meadow for your poppies to bloom in. All you need are chalks in pale blue, greens and yellow and the templates here (clouds, trees and grass). Classic iris folding pattern for a full poppy head plus a side view and bud you can fill in with strips and a leaf, seed head and stem to make your picture come to life.
This is sized to fit a 7" x 5" card and is ideal for using up leftover wrapping paper, leaflets and catalogs. Use strips of card from old greetings cards without folding, or have a go wtih ribbons and fabric scraps.

I used heavy weight card stock to cut out the poppy flowers shapes and the leaves. I used origami paper to do the iris folding on as it is less bulky.
