I played with the different effects different papers have when printed. For the background I printed the fleur background on plain paper and added it to my base card diagonally. I then printed the 'Happy birthday' design twice - once on matte photo paper and once on high gloss.

I flat stuck the matte version to the centre of my card. From the gloss version I cut out just the main turquoise and red flower and attached it with a brad so that the petals stood up.

I then cut out the birthday banner and added it on 1mm foam squares.

I finished the card with some turquoise pearls and buttercup Liquid Pearls.
