Blue Dotty 90th Birthday 3D Doily Card & Envelope KitCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

I printed the sheets onto 200gsm matt photo paper, first printing "mum" onto one of the plain doily minitags, cut out the elements and decided to make this up as a large 8x8 card.

I attached the base card to a scalloped 8x8 cardblank with DST.

I built up the doily picture using 2mmfoam. I added the minidoily in one corner with 2mmfoam and DST. I attached small gold gems to the flower centres and diminute ones to the flowers on the centre panel. I embellished the butterflies with cristal stickles for a pretty sparkle and added tiny pearls to the heads.

I tied a narrow white and silver satin double bow,added to the "Mum" tag and embellished with a blue preal and a purple pearlised 3D resin heart.

I added another purple heart diagonally in the corner. This is a beautiful design and I love the colours. I realise that the base card is for a DL base to the over the edge card,but I needed a large card this time!

The envelope is also very pretty and easy to make with strong DST.(not shown) There are full photographic instructions for both card and envelope.
