I printed the box sheets onto 300gsm card then fed these back through the printer and printed the backing paper onto the reverse.

I cut out the apertures. I scored the folded as instructed and joined one section at first.

I printed the complete design again onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I assembled the characters using wet glue to fix the reverse side to each one. I scored and folded the spring mechanism at the bottom of each character. I attached the spring behind each aperture as instructed using strong double sided tape.

I closed the box using strong double sided tape on the last tab. From the photographic printout of the sides of the box I cut out each section and attached it to the box using double sided tape.

This gives a nice shiny finish to the outside of the box. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.

A gorgeous card that is not difficult to make and will fold flat for posting. It also comes with a matching envelope.
