Swan Diorama Anniversary Card Kit - with Matching EnvelopeCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the design as instructed. I attached the background paper to the inside of the card using double sided tape.

I cut out the aperture on the front panel and added acetate as instructed. I attached the outer edges of the front panel to the outer edges of the back panel using double sided tape.

I attached the base swans to the front of the card using thin foam tape.

I only took the body from the second layer of each swan and feathered the edges by making lots of cuts into the edge of the paper.

This gives the illusion of real feathers. I then shaped it with my fingers and attached it to each base swan using thin foam tape. I did this again on the last piece of decoupage for each swan and attached it using thin foam tape.

I then added glitter to the feathers. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I printed the envelope onto 160gsm paper and cut it out. I assembled it using strong double sided tape. A beautiful card when finished.
