Easter Chick Double Slide-out Card
A pretty unusual card, with a double slider mechanism. This card looks fab as it is, pull the slider and up pops a surprise. In this case a gorgeous Easter Chick. This card also has a stand enabling it to stand up. There are plenty of sentiments to choose from, and an envelope back which can be used as a topper and a few little embellishments to make some more cards.

I printed the card parts onto 250gsm card, the decoupage onto matte photo paper, and the envelope back onto 160gsm paper. There is a nice bit of decoupage if you like cutting out, but it's optional and the card would look pretty without, too. I like the layers, so spent a bit of time cutting out of an evening.
There are clear instructions included. I cut and scored the card base, adding the pull up mechanism with foam pads and wet glue. I added the chick with thin foam, closed the card and added the back with thin dst, and added the stand up parts with wet glue. I decoupaged with glue gel. I embellished with clear wink of stella, and toning flat backed pearls and gems and added a greeting embellished with tiny gems. To finish, I punched a hole in the top and added a ribbon bow.
A gorgeous design for Easter and Spring, sure to be enjoyed, especially the pull up surprise chick! I've included photos of this, the card back, with space to write a message, and some pretty medallions, which I punched and added ribbon to for tags. Sorry, no space left for the matching envelope panel.
