I printed the box sides and the lid onto good quality 300gsm white card and cut these out. I printed the inside panels and the smaller boxes onto 200gsm white card and cut these out.
I printed the pockets and the other elements onto good quality 280gsm photographic paper and cut these out. I assembled the smaller boxes and lids using wet glue. I added the inside panels and the pockets also using wet glue. I assembled the stands for the cats using wet glue.
I attached some foam tape the bottom of each of the smaller boxes and placed these inside the main box.
The small boxes do not move but the lids still come off to allow small gifts to be placed inside.
I added the stands to the cats using wet glue and then attached them to the base and box lids using thin foam tape.
I assembled the decoupage on the top of the lid using thin foam tape. I added the panels printed on the 280gsm photographic paper over the panels on the outside of the box using thin foam tape.
Gorgeous when completed. Not difficult to do but it does take some time and patience but well worth it.
