Wonderful Windmill - Summer Garden Notelet Gift Set
This is a large kit and makes a charming piece of home decor as well as being useful. Easy to construct with stunning results. You get everything in this kit to make this beautiful windmill (the sails do turn round if required).
Added to this the base has a drawer where the little notelet cards and paper can be stored, and the envelopes are stored at the back of the windmill.
These are also included within the kit. If you do not wish to make up the drawer facility the windmill can be made as a piece of home decor on its own as the little doors will open so a little LED t-light can be put inside. As with a lot of my kits various pieces can be used to make greetings cards, and there are a variety of sentiments included. There is a very large presentation box for this piece which is available separately

I printed this kit onto 180gsm card and cut out all the pieces, making a note of the piece numbers on the back.
I then followed the instructions which have pictures as well as words, making them very easy to follow.
I attached the vanes using a gem brad with long 'legs'. This is a very sturdy model and not difficult to make. I printed off some of the notelets and notepaper along with the matching envelopes, which have lovely liners too. Another brilliant creation from Janice. There is also a matching box for this model under cup618396_905.
I printed the design onto 255gsm photographic paper, the notelets onto 300gsm card, the inserts onto 160gsm paper and the envelopes onto 160gsm paper and cut these out.
I scored and folded the design as instructed and followed the clear instructions included with the kit.
I used a combination of wet glue and strong double sided tape. I placed acetate behind the window on the front of the windmill. I used a brad from my craft box to attached the paddles to the house. I used thin foam tape to add the flowers to the fence and to the windmill.
I added one of the greetings to the front of the drawer to complete this gorgeous windmill. It stands at least 9 inches tall when completed.
